Big Think; What Makes a Winning Team? SNL and Google Have the Formula.

About five years ago Google started this interesting experiment. They wanted to figure out how to build the perfect team. Their initial hypothesis was you can make teams better by putting the right people together, right. But, they couldn’t find any correlation between who was on a team and whether that team was effective or not. They started focusing instead of who was on the team they started looking at how the team interacts.

In particular there were two norms that seemed to have a huge influence on whether a team could work together and really become productive. Typhography

I got this idea from the training course I'd had during the last winter vacation. This video inspired students to get interested in typhography and showing this video would be the first step for applying typhography in my class.

Great Websites for your English teaching

This time, a useful buffet for English teachers! We have too many websites to choose the 'right' one for us, right? I used to feel overflowed with all the materials and websites. Here are a few websites I think very useful and applicable right away into our classes.

I got all of these resources from the TTP Jeff class. He collected all of them from his own browsing and I just picked up some of them. I'm sure he is really admirable. I sincerely appreciate for his sharing.

1. Free ESL Materials - You can find many materials made by teachers and students.
   en.islcollective.com

2. Kahoot, Quizlet - You can enjoy quiz game with your students, but make sure your students bring their smart phones. In particular, quizlet fetures "Quizlet live" in which students compete with each other in a group. It would encourage cooperation and motivation!
  kahoot.it      quizlet.com

3. English Wxcercises - You can select items by topics. Useful expecially for Grammar.

4. Super Teacher Tools - Jeopardy, Millionaire, Speed match, etc. You can create your own game right away in the website. I love speed match in particular. :)
